Think soft, natural tones like earthy neutrals (tan, olive, rust), cozy warm hues (clay, deep greens, sand) or cool mountain-inspired shades (navy, forest green, cream). Sticking to a mix of complementary colors and textures keep things looking effortless and timeless - not stiff, overly coordinated outfits here!
Extended family sessions typically run about 1-1.5 hours, so we'll want to start early enough to catch that perfect golden hour light. Typically, we aim for 1.5-2 hours before the sunset to make sure we've got plenty of time to capture it all!
When it comes to outfits, fit is everything! Flowy dresses are always flattering on women, giving them movement and elegance without feeling stiff. The key is to wear something that fits your body well - too loose can hide your shape, and too tight can feel uncomfortable. For men, slacks, suits, or even dress shorts look polished and put-together without being overly formal. The goal? Outfits that make you look and feel your absolute best.
When choosing location, think about how far you're willing to travel, especially with little ones in tow! We want to keep everyone's mood in mind. Be mindful of your group when choosing a location. Also consider, the overall feel and vision you have in mind. Do you want mountain views or the onsite convenience at your lodge or cabin? The right location sets the tone and helps tell your unique story.

ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL?
Absolutely! I travel to gorgeous Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Victor, Driggs, and Island Park, Idaho for extended family shoots.
Do you offer albums?
Yes! - Albums can be purchased with your collection at a discount, or post session. Albums are beautifully printed and expertly designed to showcase your family.
Do you offer digital Files?
Of course! All family sessions include high-resolution digital files, ready for you to download and share! No watermarks. Because that's what I would want if I was in your shoes!
Do you offer Individual family sessions?
Yes! At this time I only offer individual family sessions as mini sessions in the spring and fall, or with an extended family session. Since you're already picture-ready, it just makes sense!
Do you offer Senior or Maternity sessions?
At this time I do not take senior or maternity sessions. I am happy to share referrals of photographer friends who do beautiful work and will take great care of you!
Do you offer newborn sessions?
Definitely! I offer in-home newborn sessions, that focus on your baby in their natural environment - snuggled up with family, cradled in love, and surrounded by the warmth of home. Real moments, cozy vibes, and the beauty of your growing family!
